The collection consists of correspondence, ordination papers, missionary bonds, pamphlets and other miscellaneous papers to the Bishop of London from Canada, the thirteen states of the U.S.A. and the West Indies. The papers reflect the influence that the Church of England exerted over the American colonies during the late 17th and 18th centuries.
